The man Tonnie Iredia has been making moves to perpetrate himself in office, to cover up or lets say tidy up the following atrocities which he has commited against the people of Nigeria.
1. 150m Naira which TINAPA paid to NTA, which only 50m Naira was remitted to NTA by Tonnie Iredia and his cohort Grace Egbade.
2. Live transmission in NTA usually attracts 6m Naira for 3hours; Since the year 2003, from Nigerian Party primaries to coverage of elections, so much money was paid by virtually all the parties for the coverage of their primaries which lasted into the nights (which implies more than 15 hours per party) All these monies paid by these parties were channeled through Tonnie Iredia’s office (Some of them CASH) The person who had the custody of these funds is the Mr Point-Blank Tonnie Iredia). The Executive Directors Marketing and Finance/Admin were kept in the dark about what was going on throughout. Tonnie Iredia operates a Secret Account in his Home (office) for such monies.
3. To crown up his various atrocities, he created a personalized Marketing Department in this Executive Office and put some of his loyalists in charge and they become answerable to him alone. The Executive Director Marketing knows nothing of this process.
4. Tonnie Iredia has embarked on plenty shaddy dealings with the outgoing/retiring ED Marketing Mr Peter Igho. To achieve this nefarious act, he connived with the then Minister of Information, Frank Nweke Jnr to re-arrange and re-assign the EDs. Having spoonfed the Minister, Tonnie Iredia made Igho the ED Marketing from his former portfolio ED Programmes.
5. In early 2007, Mr Peter Igho commissioned Nigeria First. Banks and other corporate organizations sponsored the initiative with about 600m Naira. This money was not paid into NTA’s coffers, rather Tonnie Iredia & Peter Igho remain the sole signatories to that fund. What is the state of the initiative now? Dead as we all know!
6. Tonnie Iredia single handedly (without the knowledge of the EDs) appointed Zonal Directors – most of whom are his girlfriends, married, unmarried, divorced & WIDOWED. The sense in that any live transmission emanating from such zones, payment will be withheld in the zone, then meaningless projects would be undertaken by the ZDs and the money shared between the ZDs and Tonnie Iredia. (The EDs insensate of this happenings).
7. In NTA it was speculated that Ben Bruce (former DG of NTA) stole so much money from NTA which most people believe aided in his setting up of Silverbird TV, Galleria, Restructuring of Rhythm FM etc. It would be shocking to note that Ben’s activities were a child’s play compared to the degree of roguery and theft which Tonnie Iredia embarks upon till date., and knowing fully well that his days are numbered in NTA, he was to siphon the Authority till he exits.
8. Tonnie Iredia’s scope to perpetrate his evil deeds of stealing has continued to deny the ED’s monthly subvention of 12m Naira approved by the dissolved board. Tonnie slashed it to 3m Naira insensate of the welfare of staff of NTA nor the quality of programmes being produced.
9. He in his autocratic dispensation appoints GMs alone. And 90% of them are women whom he has illicit affairs with. The most promiment and number one is the MD TV Enterprises, whom was given a take off grant of 500m Naira (borrowed from the banks). This number 1 girlfriend only reports to Tonnie Iredia and the Board of Directors had their wings clipped.
10. As at Februry 2008, auditors who were forcefully appointed are still in search of 80m Naira which is believed to have been misappropriated by Tonnie and his mistress MD TV enterprises.
11. Interestingly, Tonnie has a privatefinancial guru in person of DDF who specializes in tidying up and covering up Mr Tonnie Iredia’s atrocities under the auspices of WIP (work in Progress) little wonder Tonnie Iredia took the DDF to Senate in defence of an outrageous budget instead of going to the senate with the EDs.
12. 500m was equally borrowed from the Properties Dept and Tonnie had taken close to 100m Naira out of it for his personal usage.
13. In 2007, Peugeot Nigeria ran a promotion (bonanza) and Tonnie Iredia purchased 150 brands of Peugeot, 2 was given free of charge for every 10 purchased. Tonnie Iredia cannot account for the freebies colleted from this bonanza, i-e over 15 Peugout brands from 307 to 206 and Puogout Experts. Very much aware of his numbered days in office, he has taken away about 12 of those vehicles to open a car shop in his town Benin.
14. Also in 2007, a barter arrangement was struck between MTN and latest Honda CRVs Latest BMW X5, 2007 Camry were got, Six of the Jeeps were given to the EDs. Iredia took the X5 and Grace Egbagbe now retired took the Camry and the remaining Honda CRV was absolved by Tonnie for his Car showroom at Benin.
15. Mr Point-Blank Tonnie had gone as far as bribing owners of the Private TV stations in Lagos to cripple NTA lagos operations where the majority of NTA’s revenue comes from. To achieve this crippling, Tonnie embarked on transferring hardworking staff of NTA lagos areas to areas where their productivity would be crippled. As at today 70% of NTA Lagos staff has been thrown away to different locations and the revenue base of NTA Lagos has dwindled drastically. Not yet satisfies with his tyranny, he appointed a wicked soul of a woman to trample upon the remaining dedicated staff of NTA Lagos.
16. Building projects and purchase of Broadcasting equipment were undertaken with recklessness (without management approval)in order to favor his contractor friends who share the loot of NTA. (National Tonnie-Iredia Authority). He has assumed the position of Chief Engineer, Architect, Contractor etc.
17. Far back as 2006, more than 40 staff were employed by him alone without consultation with HR or management. The adverse effect is poor productivity as they were 95% unskilled girls (women of easy virtue also) which him and Peter Igho shares beds with.
18. The former ZD NTA Benin remains one of his greatest accomplices. This ED rebuilt Tonnie Iredia’s late mother;s house in Benin for instance with NTA’s funds. (A visit to NTA Benin would convince us all)
19. Tonnie Erdia has been starving Directors of money but continued to use official funds to bribe people around him in order to continue to remain in office.
20. It is shocking to reveal that since Tonnie’s assumption of duty as DG of NTA, 75 NTA staff have died as a result of neglect, stress, lack od welfare and other mysterious circumstances which seemed to be ritualistic in nature (in order to continue to remain in office). It os revealed that he invites people to some kind of dinner dates at 2 am in the morning to perpetrate his commitment to rituals. His frequent visit to the highly dreaded shrine in Benin village proves his draconic approach to ruling. His cup will soon spill over!
21. In order to remain in office he has made virtually 20 attempts to bribe the present Information Minister to support his continue stay in the office, but the man has been ignoring him. He has decided to channel his juju to penetrate the Chief of Staff to delay his removal – definietely money may have changed hands.
22. In Tonnie’s NTA, he reserves these stations which he branded as juicy for his girlfriends, cohorts, loyalists whom he appointed GMs, of MDs (such as NTA plus Abuja, NTA 5 Abuja, NTA 2 Channel 5 Lagos, NTA Properties, TV Enterprises, NTA PH, NTA Benin, NTA Kaduna, Sapele, Asaba, NTA Enugu (Now Rector TV College because of the 20m Naira Tonnie’s girlfriend embezzled)
23. Tonnie Iredia has concluded plans to purchase more than 200 plasma TVs to bribe some House of Reps & Senators to aid his continued stay in office.
24. Tonnie Iredia had wittingly bought over some News editors of some of the national dailies to withhold from publishing some incriminating information on him. However, petition have been sent to EFCC and ICPC about his nefarious activities, but they are yet hesistant to act.
25. It is worthy of note that so many good hands have left NTA because of Tonnie’s highhandedness, lack of managerial professionalism, selective promotions and immoral disposition in treating women.
26. How old is Tonnie Iredia? He has continued to falsify his age by continuing to submit age declaration certificates year in year out in order to remain relevant in age, so is his precious Grace Egbagbe did until serenity retired her finally.

NEW ATROCITIES:

1. Aware that he will be soon butted away, he embarked on massive looting in order to plunge NTA into financial crisis. For instance, on 31st march 2008, a white pick up was loaded with excess cash and taken to his house. The man in the head quarters cash should know about it.

2. The last quarterly lectures held in Atlanta Georgia and New York in the United Stated of America, N100m was spent to organise them, where as NTA is international and can organize it in Nigeria and beam to the world. Look at all the NTA, they do not befitting headquarters. Tony Iredia has continued to build on his own mushroom and sub-standard buildings without plan being approved by FCDA. Management was not even carried along.

3. continued lack of human felings and absolute lack of professionalism has made him to neglect staff welfare. Imagine last 2 weeks, an NTA staff on duty was killed by robbers. Tony could not even send a representative to his burial, and NO ASSISTANCE whatsoever was render to the deceased family in any manner.

4. Iredia’s number 2 girlfriend – the Zonal Director Lagos Centre get 12 million naira monthly for expenses, yet the Directorate are bare ly give a paltry sum of 2 million Naira for a month operational transactions. Tony Iredia has continued to handle all suppliers contracts, such as- repair of cars, supply of diesel, purchase of light bulbs, tapes and all operational purchases.

5. hIs number 1 girlfriend was given the approval to run TV enterprises with h her husband and family. It is now a FAMILY affair completely disengaged from NTA. Indeed it is designed not to make profit, but an avenue to exploit the wealth of hardworking Nigerians to compensate to his malicious and selfish sexual interests.

6. the bid to deceive the wife of the President and the Minister of Information, Tony Iredia commissioned 2 empty renovated buildings as operational office in Kaduna. In the truth – only 2 offices in the building were furnished and equiped and the guests were shielded form entering other parts of the so called Operational building..

January 2008, during the Information conference held in Jos, 2 Ghana must go bags were loaded with money used in chasing the Ministers and members of the National Assembly, in the bid to bribe them for his malicious and continued stay in office.

7. IREDIA PURCHASED AN nta BUILDING IN Abuja, bought another in Lagos @ Musa Yaradus Street using a different name. Also he is making moves to buy off the Estate building including the one bought by GM NTA2 Channel 5 Lagos.

Revelations indicate that he buried "juju" at the foundation of the water fountain at the head quarters of Abuja and also at the Main Gate. These acts were aimed at hypnotizing his executives and members of the public who would want to call for an inquest.
